Driver and Records Center Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible, service-oriented individual to deliver and pick up important business records and other items to and from customers, and to support the operations department of our sister companies in Tampa, FL.
In this role you will:
• Play a critical role in providing on-time, accurate, and safe pick-up and delivery services to customers.
• Build positive relationships with customers and leave a lasting good impression about the company and its services.
• Perform barcode scanning of incoming and outgoing customer items daily.
· Operate lift equipment and order-picking equipment, as needed, to pull and fill customer orders.
• Load and unload customer items from company-provided vehicle
• Complete assigned routes to and from customer locations each day, using a company-provided vehicle and a company-provided handheld scanner.
• Perform administrative duties as needed to assist the operations department.
· Perform daily and weekly safety inspections of assigned vehicle using a company-provided checklist, and report any issues to management.
· Adhere to all state and local traffic laws.
· Interact with other members of the team, including customer service and operations.
To be successful in this position, you need:
• A valid Florida driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• To be 21 years of age or older
• At least two years of experience as a driver/courier and/or in a shipping and receiving environment
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Integrity and honesty
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A strong sense of urgency and a passion for excellence and customer service
• Ability to reach overhead, bend, and stretch, and lift, push or pull items weighing between 20 and 60 pounds
