QUALIFICATIONS
1.High school diploma or G.E.D.
2.Associate Degree, Minimum of 48 credited college hours or Pass a state approved test.
3.Has met the requirements of a criminal record check as specified by Kentucky State law and other requirements as specified in district personnel policy.
4.Some experience working with children in an organized setting.
5.Must be capable of working with three and four year old students including those with disabilities.
6.Must be able to lift children up to 50 lbs. during bus loading and unloading, toileting, lunchroom, etc. and must be able to bend over and work on floor as needed.
REPORTS TO: Principal and Preschool Teacher.
JOB GOAL:
To assist a certified teacher in providing instruction and/or supervision to individual students or students in small groups, monitor student progress, and generally help students be successful in the preschool program.
