Full Job Description
Forever Young Companion Agency is a non medical agency that provides senior care to enhance independent living while aging at home. We are also a Medicaid Waiver Provider who provide personal support, respite care and life skills development services to individuals with developmental disabilities. We pride ourselves with focusing on quality care and customer service. We are looking for reliable, compassionate, energetic caregivers that will interact with our clients giving them the care they need and deserve.
Responsibilities
• Maintaining proper record-keeping and documentation
• Communicating with the staff, client and family
• Personal Supports Services (Dressing, bathing, grooming, light housekeeping, etc)
• Respite Care (meal preparation, hygiene, cleaning, etc)
• Adhering to the plan of care and understanding the clients needs
• Assist with progress towards goals & community inclusion
• Transportation to and from appointments
• Medication reminders
Position Requirements
• Must be able to pass a level 2 background check and drug screening
• HHA/CNA certification
• Ability to make sound decisions quickly
• Great customer service and communication skills
• CPR certification
• TB test
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Hoyer Lift experience
