Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Digital Media and Content Manager is primarily responsible for website engagement through digital media content that effectively educates, informs and motivates support for Fort Worth Country Day’s mission and strategic priorities.
This is a full-time, year-round position.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maximize the FWCD website through robust maintenance, ongoing content review, addition of new content, and updates as needed.
• Manage the website which includes writing and editing text; creating graphics, video and other digital media; and editing digital photography.
• Oversee the web presence to strengthen brand awareness and ensure brand integrity
• Manage Blackbaud software and database integration processes
• Work with the Technology Department and Blackbaud to troubleshoot and maintain data integrations with the website
• Maximize Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in website content creation and refine content with keyword strategy to increase rankings on search networks
• Assist with Search Engine Marketing initiatives pertaining to Admissions
• Track, report and evaluate website analytics
• Research best practices, emerging web development strategies and external resources which may enhance the school’s online presence
• Provide template design and coding for e-newsletters
• Assist in providing online event registration forms
• Manage constituent database and distribution lists on website and email clients
• Provide photo and video coverage for the School as needed
• Organize and maintain digital photo and video archives
• Manage digital signage and screens on campus
• Collaborate with departments on campus such as Academic Divisions, Athletics, Fine Arts and Admissions
As a member of the Advancement Team, the person in this position will be asked to assist with campus special events, alumni events and fundraising events as needed.

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years’ experience in digital media with extensive knowledge of web design principles and content management systems
• Must be proficient in HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite/Workplace products and analytics and digital publishing
• Proficiency in Blackbaud is preferred
• The candidate must have experience in photography, photo editing and video production along with strong organizational, analytical, creative and written skills
