WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Carries out nationwide recruitment efforts, primarily for our Texas, Pennsylvania and California branches, for all positions: sourcing, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and preparing new hire orientation packages.
• Conducts New Hire Orientation, and updates program as needed.
• Creatively attract top talent in a timely and cost-effective manner using Web sites, job boards, social media and networking sites, i.e. LinkedIn, and other Web-based media to recruit and source potential candidates.
• Executes on the hiring criteria, competency profiles established on job requirements and job description with hiring managers.
• Interviews prospective employees for open positions, evaluates applicant qualifications, refers qualified applicants for specific job openings and composing and extending offer letters.
• Conducts all background checks and drug screen set ups
• Follows laws, guidelines, policies, and practices in matters of human resources and employment.
• Advises hiring managers on current requisition procedures and recruitment/selection processes.
• Establish and maintain relationships with all employees, applicants and management and gives feedback.
• Works with AVP of Human Resources and department managers, to respond and resolve complaints as needed.
• Represents BSI at Career Days and participates in job fairs and outreach activities.
• Participates in HR programs which enhance communications with all employees
• Assist in creating employee engagement initiatives
• Assist in researching performance related problems, finding training if needed
• Follow HR Action Plan to ensure we are meeting our goals.
• Various HR System applications (Paylocity, Recruiter sites, etc).
• Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Education and/or Certifications in Human Resources related areas a plus.
• Minimum four (4) or more years of experience in staffing and recruitment of exempt and nonexempt personnel, with preference for one (1) year in a multi-state organization.
• Must know Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Drives and have other computer system competencies
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
