ADMINSTRATIVE ASSISTANT III - HUMAN RESOURCES Non-Clinical Support Hours: M-F 8-430 Days - Full-time Paygrade/Wages/Salary Info: OH 2013-72 - 40154L
Job Summary Performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of assigned department. # Job Responsibilities Responsible for opening and closing the HR office. Responsible for preparing and sending daily huddle notes, department meeting minutes, etc. Receives deliveries for business center and ensures appropriate distribution. Schedules/requests courier as needed. Opens and distributes mail. Monitors business center emails. Manages business center break room supplies. Maintains team members# files and creates new team member files. Assembles new team member orientation packets and facilitates processing of team members on first day of orientation. Collects and processes I-9 documentation and verification for new team members. Responsible for taking badge pictures for team members and non-employees. Files documents including name changes, offer letters, corrective actions, counseling sessions, employee change sheets, etc. Processes files for terminated team members and prepares files for scanning and purging. Compiles documentation and assists with preparing reports as requested. Completes employment verifications. Assists with process pre-employment screening for prospective hires. Assists with NPAP administration by verifying credentials. Assists with gathering team member information for surveyors. Completes contract cover sheets and e-forms Tracks and prints employee relations files. Schedules rooms and/or catering as requested: Benefit Education Sessions, Vendor Fair(s), department meetings, etc. Maintains supply of HR documents and materials for retirement , new team members, leaves, file folders, etc. Completes high-volume mailings as requested, e.g., address, stuff envelopes. Qualifications High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire A minimum of 4 years# relevant experience required No licensure/certification/registration required Skills and Attributes Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Requires in-depth skills and knowledge of the specialized concepts, practices, and procedures in the area of specialization. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the specialization as well as business needs to recommend appropriate action.
