Job Summary
The APRN or Physician Assistant provides nursing and medical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases.  Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems.  Maintains an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital.
Clinical Care Coordination and weekly Liver Tumor Conference preparation, meeting moderation, and follow-up are a significant part of this role. Will also see patients in the clinic for office visits. Must be able to work well in a multidisciplinary team to manage and care for hepatobiliary tumor patients.
Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida. Adult Gerontology Primary Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care board certification required for APRNs. Oncology or Hepatology experience preferred.
