We're expanding! Swedish Match North America LLC, a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) producer and market leader of a broad assortment of smokeless tobacco products including snus and ZYN, is seeking a full-time General Maintenance ELECTRICIAN for 3rd shift, at our Owensboro, KY facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of all electrical equipment and control circuits of machinery, buildings and grounds. Replacement and repairs of all electric motors and directly coupled gear boxes. Responsible for troube shooting and repair of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation circuits, PLC and remote I/O circuits, VFD and servo-controlled systems.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will possess the following:

Must be capable of reading prints and schematics and working with control relay circuits, solid state controls, programmable controllers and pneumatic controls.
•
Must be knowledgeable of single and three phase circuits used with motors, equipment, building and grounds.
•
Vocational School/Technical School Training and a minimum of two years verifiable experience performing the above duties are required.
•
Passing grades on written electrical test and bench test must be achieved before the job will be awarded.
Other Desired:
• PLC exposure/Logic Ladder
• CMMS (Maximo preferable) exposure/use
• Trouble shoot newer electronic systems (x-ray, vision, etc.)
• Servo Drives and actuators, gearbox and motor knowledge
• Journeyman Electrical license required within one year. Electrical Master License desired, but not required
Excellent benefits and starting rate of $31.46 per hour.
