The Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program Educator for the Stronger with Involved Focused Fathers Program will provide relationship education and training to couples, with children 0-8 years of age, with the goal of decreasing relational stress in the family environment and increasing the ability to communicate effectively, work as a parenting team, manage conflicts without damaging closeness, and preserve and enhance commitment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide group, virtual or hybrid sessions of PREP Relationship Enrichment Curriculum
• Facilitate couple discussion and relationship skill-building exercises
• Conduct the enrollment, service planning and implementation of the PREP Program
• Administers evaluation measures, interpret assessment insights with focus on stress and give personalized feedback
• Make referrals and establish connections to other community resources
• Review all participant work to assure accuracy and completion
• Document services provided to the family and submit required paperwork in a timely well-organized fashion
• Maintain flexible hours and schedule visits according to families' needs
• Agree to travel throughout Hillsborough County and working in clients' homes (requires ability to tolerate exposure to tobacco smoke, domestic animals, household pests, and other conditions common to a variety of home environments
• Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences (social work, human services, or counseling) preferred; Associates Degree required; 2+ years of experience working with parents and young children in the child development arena. Bilingual Spanish preferred, not required.
