Apogee is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer in Tampa, FL to support Apogee’s SOF AT&L Support Services (SS) Task Order (TO) at MacDill AFB, FL .

What you will be doing:
• Administratively support the SOF AT&L SS Program Manager (PM) and Team Leads as they:
• Integrate and coordinate all activity required to execute the PWS and manage workload, timeliness, completeness, quality, and issue resolution
• Maintain a stable, productive workforce
• Provide contractor training to stay current with appropriate DoD and USSOCOM policy and guidance
• Provide supervisory surveillance of employee performance
• Generate, QC, deliver, and archive PWS Contractor Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting
• Provide administrative, knowledge management, and basic Apogee IT support functions for Apogee’s SOF AT&L team from the Tampa office
• Provide facility management for Apogee’s Tampa location; support day-to-day operations of the Apogee Tampa office
• Assist SOF AT&L PM and Team Leads in completing Apogee’s Annual Assessment process
• Act as a liaison between Apogee Facility Security Officer and SOF AT&L PM, Team Leads, and workforce to establish and maintain policy and standard practice for the SOF AT&L SS TO that ensure compliance with the NISPOM, ICDs, USSCOCOM, and other federal branch and agency regulations
• Conduct security education and training
• Provide support to the Personnel Security Program including maintaining JPAS/DISS, SIMS, initiating clearance requests, VARs, and SCI/SAP/ACCM nominations
• Provide support to Apogee’s Insider Threat Program
• Conduct security investigations and report adverse information to applicable agencies
• Establish and maintain successful working relationships with government and internal customers
• Act as an advocate for Apogee’s security program, using sound communication expertise and working with SOF AT&L TO managers to accomplish TO missions
• Support physical security at Apogee’s Tampa office, including facility access control, intrusion detection, safes/locks, hardware, surveillance and doors
• Maintain visitor control functions, entry/exit inspections and badging
• Conduct annual self-inspection as required by the NISP and coordinate DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessment
What you will need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or minimum of 8 years of progressively more responsible administrative/managerial experience
• 4+ years of experience working in personnel security
• Top Secret security clearance, SCI preferred
• Experience with JPAS, DISS, NISS, SWFT, eMASS, e-QIP, ACCS, FAR, DFARS
• Must be highly proficient in Office 365 Suite, including SharePoint; experience with workflow and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence highly desired
• Experience with ITAR/export compliance desired
• Experience with USSOCOM security office desired
