Great opportunity to join a growing company! Florida Family Primary Care Centers operates 6 primary care medical centers. We are looking for a customer service representative for our Temple Terrace team. Must have prior customer service experience and excellent people skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
Job Summary:
The Social Service Representative will assist clients applying for state benefits such as: Medicaid, Medicare, Food Stamps, Cash Assistance, Social Security, Disability, etc.
The right person for this role will be motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment and cares about helping others.
Duties may include but not limited to:
· Assist clients through various applications for social and health care insurance program options through one on one counseling
· Timely follow-up and follow through with referrals from team members
· Assess client needs and make referrals to appropriate community resources
· Track and report patient’s progress in applying for assistance
· Demonstrates the consistent application of quality customer service skills
· Demonstrates ability to respond to general information requests and/or inquiries effectively and efficiently.
· Refers call(s) to appropriate person or department
· Is available to answers all inbound phones per established protocol
· Advocate on client’s behalf to help resolve problems with resources
· Attend basic trainings and certifications as needed
· Promote the Company Service programs both within the center and in the community, including at local groups and organizations, which are stakeholders in the improvement of health care for low to moderate income families and individuals
· Attend community outreach events such as: back to school care fairs, focus groups, etc.
· Provide Outreach and Education to raise awareness about ACCESS and Medical Centers
· Ability to deal with public in a tactful, courteous, and effective manner.
· Proficiency in the use of a computer.
· Attention to detail and ability to carefully follow written and oral instructions.
· Ability to review customer data for accuracy and completeness.
· Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) is required.
