The Health Services Administrator (HSA) serves as the chief on-site Administrator and is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive contract services.
This is a great opportunity for a community based nurse to take their experience on the road for a single employer. You will have the chance to serve as interim HSA in different Corizon communities throughout the US.
Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Health Services Administrator - Traveler with up to 100% travel to Corizon sites for short or medium term assignments:
• Be accountable for the delivery of contract services and ensure that Corizon Health is compliant with all aspects of the client contract.
• Develop and maintain a positive, professional, and collaborative relationship with clients (warden, supervisor, and/or equivalent client role).
• Communicate and direct organization's conversations around priorities, goals, and organization improvement areas.
• Plans, coordinates, directs the fiscal, personnel and patient care activities to assure the standards of care and standards of practice are met as appropriate for the patient care needs.

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing School required. Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current, unrestricted, non-probationary status license as a Registered Nurse in the state where the position is located.
• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience in a healthcare setting necessary.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR Certification at the Medical Professional Level with AED Training.
• Current valid driver's license.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous multi-site clinical operations management experience.
• Previous direct management experience within a correctional health setting.
• Specialty certification in correctional healthcare (Certified Correctional Health Professional: CCHP, Certified Correctional Health Professional Nurse: CCHP-RN).
• Excellent communication skills to quickly establish relationship with operations and client teams.
A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
