Provides data analysis support for the Cloud Economics function within the TOS Finance group. Responsible for the analysis of historical and current cloud (on-prem and off-prem) spend, identification of trends and patterns in usage and spend and utilization, development around cloud spend controls and recommendations around optimization of cloud usage and spend. - This role will be involved in the creation of data aggregation through the development of data collection architecture, datastores and automation needed to support the data aggregation across multiple cloud technologies. - This role will be responsible for the creation of data visulaization providing users and management views into the cloud spend environment. - - This role will be responsible for the creation of cloud spend and utilization reports and controls and interfacing with the responsible parties to explain and report to management the spend and controls activity. - This role will provide support to the Cloud Financial Operations team in creation of cost models and cost optimization. - This role will utilize cloud spend and usage data to build Total Cost of Operation analysis and provide input into pricing future cloud initiatives. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications** - Eight or more years of experience in systems software and programming environment **Preferred Skills:** - Knowledge of off-prem cloud technologies in use by US Bank especially Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure. - Familiarity with the Python programming language and the ability to automate collection of data through vendor APIs. - Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI. - Ability to provide data analysis to varying level of users within the organization. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Job:** Information Technology **Primary Location:** United States **Shift:** 1st - Daytime **Average Hours Per Week:** 40 **Requisition ID:** 200017694 U.S. Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
