Memorial Hospital is currently accepting applications for an ARDMS-credentialed Ultrasound Technologist on a PRN/per diem basis for call coverage on weekdays and weekends.  The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for producing quality, diagnostic ultrasound images ready for interpretation by the Radiologist(s).  ER, OR and IR experience is preferred.  BLS required.

• Current ARDMS credentials
•
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
•
Recent Ultrasound Technologist experience in a hospital setting is a plus!
•
Knowledge of the use and maintenance of equipment specific to ultrasound
•
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, sterile technique and patient positioning techniques specific to ultrasound
•
Knowledge of safety practices relative to radiation exposure, hazardous materials and infection control policies
•
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
•
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment
