Leads / Intake Specialist
NeuroSpa TMS Therapy Centers are psychiatric medical offices that specialize in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for the treatment of major depressive disorder. Our main goal is to provide the best patient care possible in the mental health arena.
We are seeking a Leads/Intake Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is one of the first points of contact that a potential TMS patient will have with NeuroSpa and is responsible for establishing a positive rapport that leads to scheduled therapy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Explain what TMS is and how it can be a benefit to the patient’s mental health.
• Assess documentation provided by the patient.
• Prepare intake paperwork and clarify current as well as historical patient information with respect to medicine management, therapy and current symptoms.
• Perform mental status exams (i.e., PHQ9), score checklists and include results in a prepared report.
• Explain the associated TMS procedures and corresponding financial information based upon patient’s unique circumstances, setting patient expectation level for entire process.
• Be able to complete the history appointment in no more than an hour with the completed report available shortly thereafter.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Enthusiastic extrovert with outstanding interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with high volume of phone work
• Mental Health/Intake experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terms and office operations (i.e., data entry, scanning, scheduling)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of insurance carrier verification of benefits processes and corresponding patient financial responsibility explanations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to manage time and priorities
• Bilingual a plus
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $41,600.00 - $47,840.00 annual salary (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
