Overview:
The Creative Manager will lead the creative articulation of the ABILITY brand throughout print and digital channels. This individual will oversee all aspects of the creative process. They will lead the execution of all copywriting and design projects to create materials that will elevate the ABILITY brand and lead/demand generation efforts. The Creative Manager is highly skilled in project management to direct in-house or external team members as well as vendors. The ideal candidate will be skilled using the following: Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, basic CSS/HTML, video production, and usability.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Foster teamwork with internal departments to set an environment conducive to idea exchange, support and excitement for our services and products
• Creation, development, and execution of creative marketing programs that meet ABILITY’s strategic and tactical marketing objectives
• Ensure creative deliverables and budget targets are met
• Assist executive team with time sensitive projects as needed
• Must have the ability to convey concepts through storyboards and verbal communication
• Oversee the design and copywriting of all internal and external marketing projects
• Design and develop digital and print marketing and sales support materials (email blasts, landing pages, web banners, direct mail, ad layouts, special event invitations, marketing collateral, etc.)
• Strength in project management and ability to multitask and establish personal objectives to meet established deadlines
• Ability to collaborate with peers and associates throughout development process
• Excels creatively, maintains knowledge and awareness of on-going trends and best practices in print and digital media
• Shares best practices and new approaches to creative, branding and user experience with other design personnel
• Work closely with selected vendors to produce and distribute print and digital projects as needed
• Inspire, guide, mentor and provide creative direction for other design personal
• Oversee design, content and functionality and performance of ABILITY website
• Direct the layout and design of all creative materials and branding elements
• Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;
• Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or its equivalent
• 5+ years creative services, design, branding, email and direct mail marketing experience; with an emphasis on digital marketing
• Previous business-to-business marketing experience required
• Excellent computer skills including but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and WordPress
• Mastery level capabilities of design concepts (color, typography, scale, proportion)
• Knowledge and management skills to oversee all aspects of the ABILITY website, including planning, design, and development
• Knowledge and respect for working within corporate brand guidelines
• Discretion, self-motivation, diplomacy and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to think creatively and strategically to produce new ideas and concepts and foster an environment to bring out the best of your direct reports in these areas
• Strong understanding of product content copywriting, creative development, and web standards
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once and balance priorities
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and written skills, including presentation delivery
• Able to meet tight deadlines and prioritize a varied workload in a fast-paced, unpredictable, and demanding environment; comfortable with ambiguity
• Effective and clear written and verbal communication skills; a must to be effective in this position
• This job has supervisory responsibilities for direct reports. Team leadership and acting in a team lead capacity is required. Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ABILITY policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; acknowledging and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Ability to travel. Primarily travel will consist of visits to our remote offices and Marketing team meetings
• Excellent time management skills
• Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills
• Ability to multi-task with close attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated management experience
• CSS/HTML experience
• Video product and usability
• Marketo or other marketing automation software experience
• Industry knowledge of healthcare administrative or clinical transactions/workflows is a plus
