Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Sr. Director, Corporate Compliance & Privacy (or designee), the Policy Management System Coordinator (PMSC) is responsible for managing, developing and supporting initiatives to implement and improve an electronic database repository of policies and procedures. Promotes and manages the usage of TGH’s policy management technology platform throughout the organization. The PMSC will provide policy management support by: (1) Acting as a central information source for the policy management system; (2) Setting up user permissions and maintaining access rights to the policy management system; (3) Creating and modifying workflows as needed; (4) Assisting with end user training; (5) Creating and pulling reports as may be required; (6) Managing the inventory of policies and procedures to make sure all documents are formatted, up to date, and are reviewed in accordance with TGH’s policy; (7) Performing other duties as may be needed. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
• Associate Degree or higher, preferably in Information Technology, the healthcare industry or business related.
• A minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Must show initiative, resourcefulness, and have the ability to multi task.
• Must exhibit work reflecting a high level of quality and attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Requires intermediate or advanced computer skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills.
• The PMSC must also have the ability to manage own workload and set priorities with minimal supervision.
