Full Job Description
McClain, Inc. is looking to hire several full & part time employees.
The positions are in a "group home" setting for PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL AND INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES. Each of the positions are in an all female or all male home for residents who require only minimal assistance. We are looking for dedicated and caring individuals with good communication skills. background screenings from FBI\FDLE
local law enforcement screening
physical examination
random drug testing
driving record
Experience: 1 year as a home health care worker, CNA or caregiver for the elderly or disabled population. The ability to stand for several hours and perform general household duties with the residents such as washing clothes, cooking, light house cleaning, client record keeping and medication administration... (overnight job duties will differ).
Additional training will be provided to meet the standards of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities & other governing agencies.

• Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
• Charting or taking notes for others to review
• Providing companionship and supportive listening
• Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
• Administering medication
• Transporting client to appointments
• Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
