Full Job Description
Family Extended Care of Central Tampa is seeking caring, responsible, and qualified caregivers to join our assisted living facility in Tampa, Florida. Previous Med-Tech experience is favorable and preferred although not required.
Family Extended Care is a not-for-profit organization delivering compassionate care to our residents. As a Resident Aide you will work under the direction of the Floor Supervisor to provide assistance to our residents in several ways. This is a great opportunity for compassionate people who enjoy helping others that are either looking at changing careers or reentering the workforce.
Responsibilities Include
• Assisting residents with ADL (Activities of Daily Living).
• Laundry
• Meal Assistance
• Cleaning
• Other Duties as needed.
Job Requirements
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team.
• Previous experience in long term care or senior care preferred, but will train qualified applicants who possess the above mentioned skills.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance history.
Employment at our organization requires passing a mandatory Level 2 AHCA Background Screening and Drug Test.
