Clinical Nurse II- Pediatric Critical Care
BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced Pediatric Critical Care Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate team at St. Joseph Children’s Hospital.
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is a Level I, 16-bed, state-of -the-art unit dedicated to the care of critically ill children and their families. The PCIU provides quality care to all ages, infant to adolescents. Our skillful and knowledgeable team offers patients the necessary treatment and care to achieve the best possible outcome for illness and injury.
The Clinical Nurse II:
·       Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
·       Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
·       Is responsible for professional accountability and development.
·       The CN II performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
Additional responsibilities at the Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program for Children (SIPP) only:
·       Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance, and supervision to a child.
For this position, we are looking for a RN with a background working in a Pediatric Critical Care setting.
