IR Staffing Team
Job Description
Immediate need for Class A driver with experienced with 53' flatbed trailers for a steel company.
Schedule days is Monday through Friday: all within State of Florida with day shift hours early morning.
Starting pay rate at $18.00 per hour with over time as needed.
This is a temp to hire position for the right candidates.
Qualifications
Must have a Florida CDL Class A driver license active.
Current DOT Medical Card and long form.
Clean motor vehicle report for last 3 years preferred - no more than 3 points, no reckless, no careless, no DUI's, no accidents in the past 5 years in CDL trucks.
Must have a minimum of 1 years of Class A flatbed commercial driving experience verifiable.
Experience hauling steel a plus, which includes tie down, chaining and strapping a secure load.
Must be able to drive manual transmission.
Must have no more than 4 jobs in the last 5 years.
Pre trip & post trip inspections of truck and trailer as required by DOT and must be able to do log books or computer logs as required by DOT.
Physical aspects of job include lots of walking briskly, climbing, squatting, Kneeling, balancing on top of loaded trailer and be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
DOT drug screening required and participation in a random drug testing program.
Additional Information
$18 - $22 Per Hour
