Summary/Objective
The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing and analyzing the results of the complex scientific tests.
Essential Functions

• Prepping urine, blood, and oral fluid specimens for analysis
• Aliquoting patient samples for various procedures to test for the presence or quantity of therapeutic drugs and drugs of abuse
• Screening patient samples on the Olympus analyzer
• Monitoring quality control measures and protocols.
• Reviewing LCMS Data and experience with LCMS

Qualifications, Knowledge and Competencies
Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Certification by ASCP, AMT, or AAB, Medical Technologist License (or Medical Laboratory Technician) in State of Florida and laboratory experience.
Knowledge : Apollo LIMS, Olympus
Competencies : Technical Capacity, Decision Making, Problem Solving/Analysis, Results Driven
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, and hours specified by the manager.
