Position Highlights: Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to Oncology population. # Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Adheres to rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. # The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Student currently enrolled in BSN program from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution (must have completed Nursing Fundamentals course). CNA with patient care experience in an acute care setting # Responsibilities: Provides care to oncology patients based on the identification of the patient#s age, physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs Assists in the general care of the patient through collaboration and teamwork May assist in the coordination of the patient flow Observes and reinforces patient care and education # Credentials and Qualifications: Florida CNA License OR active enrollment in BSN program from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution (must have completed Nursing Fundamentals course).# BLS required
