ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
Maintains filing systems as assigned.
Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors.
Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.
Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Maintains a system for recording expenses and the use of petty cash.
Assist in preparation for external monitoring visits, reviews, and audits.
Performs duties in relation to preparation of Board Meetings.
Attends in-service and staff meetings as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Associates Degree Preferred.
Ability to understand and meet Federal and State guidelines which are pertinent to the operation of the program.
Must have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle details accurately.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, financial reports, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and legal documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence that conform to a prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisor, clients, fellow employees, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra. Ability to understand and apply principles of accounting.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Kentucky Driver's License.
Must meet certification standards as outlined by KCADV and as directed by Supervisor
