Full Job Description
The Advanced Practice Network (APN) is a national network of pharmacists/pharmacies who provide clinical services. The purpose of the network is to develop clinical pharmacists who are engaged in clinical services and can provide those services for payers. The APN Associate position is responsible for the development (outreach, enrollment and contracting), management (ongoing credentialing, and payment coordination) of the APN pharmacies/pharmacists. Additionally, this supports multiple internal stakeholders including accounts, clinical operations, compliance and finance as it relates to maintaining adherence to contractual obligations.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Manage and maintain all pharmacy/pharmacist contacts in the corporate contact relationship management software CRM.
· Conduct outreach to pharmacy/pharmacists using CRM software.
· In conjunction with internal stakeholders, secure professional service agreements.
· Gather, review, and submit credentialing applications, as required, for network development and management.
· Provides general support to all network development activities and support Chief Clinical Officer and other Contract team with implementation requirements.
· Strategize with other members of the management team to ensure network management division goals are met.
· Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve operational issues as related to negotiated contracts.
· Under the direction of leadership, prepares and submits requests for contract changes, provider demographic data changes, prepares rosters, and/or claims processing.
· Complete onboarding of new managed care payor contracts with internal and external stakeholders. Perform contract orientations (includes writing/updating orientation material when necessary).
· Perform duties to act as a liaison between providers, payors, and the company including investigating and resolving provider, claims, and/or, contractual issues.
· Negotiate and process single case agreements.
· Perform education and guidance to payors to ensure contracts and providers are loaded correctly and accurately.
· Receive and respond to internal and external provider related issues. Investigate and communicate provider/payor changes.
· Deploy and configure corporate EHR for network pharmacists/pharmacies.
· Responsible for remaining educated on payor/provider policy changes by attending payor education webinars, town halls, etc.
· Assists with credentialing applications for Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payors.
· Demonstrate excellent customer service.
· Work on special projects as needed and assist co-workers in the completion of critical tasks.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree Preferred
· 2 years of Provider Relations or Pharmacy Technician Experience
· Detail-Oriented
· Ability to multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities
· Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Experience with CRM (Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho)
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Diplomacy in cross-functional team coordination with the ability to work as a team member, promote attention to detail, and exercise good communication skills to deliver results on the customer’s behalf.
· Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to multi-task, set priorities, track projects status, and meets strict deadlines.
· Extreme attention to detail with the ability to be flexible and change directions easily.
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
· Ability to operate office equipment such as voice mail messaging systems, email and use of various software applications to support CSS’ MTM operational processes.
· Travel as required up to 25%
