Full Job Description
Lifestyle Therapeutics Health and Wellness Coach (Part time/Full time)
Work from home. No more commuting or traffic. Save money on gas and spend more time with your family. Come work from home for a rapidly growing Lifestyle Coaching company on your own time based out of Los Angeles, CA.
We provide off-site lifestyle support to participants throughout the country. As a Health Coach, you will have the opportunity to help improve the quality of life for participants through lifestyle modification. You will work with participants who have been prescreened to participate in programs such as Weight Management, Diabetes Management, Smoking Cessation, Diabetes Prevention, Blood Pressure Support, Stress Management, etc.

Essential Functions:
• Uses holistic, Lifestyle Therapy coaching to support healthy, sustainable lifestyle change. Specifically encourages participants to follow weight, blood pressure, smoking cessation, stress management, sleep hygiene, and diabetes management program guidelines.
• Specializes in behavioral lifestyle therapy, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology methodologies.
• Work closely with the customer health and wellness team in meeting the organization’s health management goals.
Other Duties
• Schedule varies and will be set in concert with supervisor.
• Complete visit related administrative duties including: Chart note taking, ordering products, documentation, data documentation and outcomes.
• Monitors performance of patients using designated outcome measures exported through the inHealth system.
• Will participate in all quality control performance reviews as needed by the inHealth Medical Services, Inc. quality control team.
Needs to be hired:
• Complete training and training manual for inHealth programs and specialty tracks.
• Review all patient education materials.
• Current computer with a minimum processor speed and internet bandwidth that meets requirements as outlined in inHealth Lifestyle Therapeutics policies to maintain operational function.
• Current smart phone as outlined in inHealth Lifestyle Therapeutics policies that is available for HIPAA compliant conversations.
• HIPAA compliant location to conduct participant visits.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Self-motivated, problem solver, able to organize time and job assignments.
• One (1) year of previous health education/coaching experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of behavior change, motivational interviewing, and health education delivery.
• Certification in health coaching or health education or similar.
• Bachelor's degree or four (4) year degree in education, nutrition, health science, health promotion, community health, health and wellness, kinesiology, or similar field.
• National Health Coach Certification (NCCA Accredited)
• Fluent in English: reading and writing.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple technology platforms.
• Knowledge of computer software, programs, and or applications required.
• Must be able to work remotely in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
• Have a computer with a minimum hard drive and processor speed as outlined in the inHealth requirements.
• Have a smart phone that can be used for work related activities.
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree + National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach
• Fluent in Spanish and/or other languages.
• Experience in virtual health coaching visits (video and/or phone).
