WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Unaccompanied Children (UAC) Assistant Program Director provides support to the Program Director and serves as secondary liaison with the Office of Refugee Resettlement. The Assistant Program Director is responsible for coordinating day to day case management, education and acculturation services of the Unaccompanied Children at Gulf Coast JFCS Program. Maintain monthly program reporting and chart compliance as required by funder and state licensing requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• At a minimum, the Assistant Program Director must have a Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, sociology
• Or other relevant behavioral science plus five years of progressive employment experience with a social services or childcare agency or organization.
• Previous work history in a shelter setting highly favorable.
• Must participate in at least 10 hours of continuing education / training annually.
• Must be computer literate.
• Public speaking, personnel communication and organizational skills a must.
• Spanish/English bilingual is required.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and car insurance
• Must participate in at least 10 hours of continuing education/training per year.
