TGH is the area’s only level I trauma center and one of just two ABA-verified adult & pediatric burn centers in Florida. Job Summary
Under general Supervision of Distribution and in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards, the Distribution Technician I performs routine and technical duties necessary for the continuum of supply and instrument distribution hospital-wide. Duties may include stocking, inventory, and dispensing of supplies and equipment for clinical areas. Require a working knowledge of handling of sterile supplies. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General.
• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Experience with stocking, inventory, and dispensing of supplies and equipment strongly preferred.
• Experience in healthcare and knowledge of handling of sterile supplies strongly preferred.
