MANAGER OF NURSING - BARIATRIC UNIT & INFUSION Leadership Hours: M-F days-could vary Days - Full-time Paygrade/Wages/Salary Info: OH 2013-78 - 46016A
Job Summary Responsible for the staffing and administration of a nursing unit or floor. # Job Responsibilities Ensures departmental compliance with regulatory and The Joint Commission requirements. Assists with the hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of nursing staff. Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit. Develops and implements policies and procedures to insure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit. Monitors and adheres to annual hospital operating budget. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines. Qualifications Bachelor#s degree or higher in Nursing required upon hire A minimum of 4 years# relevant experience required RN - Licensed as a Registered Nurse. Eligible to practice nursing in the State of Kentucky required upon hire AND BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 45 days of employment in this position Experience in Bariatrics preferred. Skills and Attributes Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
