Canteen Service Company of Owensboro KY is looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a
VENDING REPAIR TECHNICIAN
Full - Time
$14.00 per hour starting
JOB EXPECTATIONS to include, but not limited to;
Repairs, installs, adjusts and maintains vending machines and micro markets by performing the following duties.
General :
• Tests ice makers, refrigeration, carbonation, evaporation, dispensing, electrical and coin handling systems all being a part of preventative maintenance.
• Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.
• Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area.
• Realigns and repairs machines.
• Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair.
• Operates Canteen service truck safely and follows weekly maintenance schedule. Clean service truck inside and out on an as needed basis.
• Maintains proper inventory of machine parts on maintenance truck.
• Establishes good rapport with service location employees to ensure customer satisfaction through verbal communication and providing good service.
• Responsible for performing all job duties in a safe manner.
Supervisory Responsibilities : This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Lock out/ tag out training may be required.
Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Computer Skills : The ability to effectively communicate via an e-mail system.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Valid Motor Vehicle License, good driving record, and DOT medical certification may be required.
