U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Information Security Risk and Compliance Consultant responsible for defining the information security strategic road map by interfacing with core business functions and technology teams to identify required future state security capabilities, working with internal information security teams to secure the threat landscape, and considering strategic risk areas of the organization. The ideal candidate will utilize security knowledge and professional experience to support the definition, communication, and maintenance of the information security strategy and metrics. Technical background will enable comprehensive strategic conversations with technical audiences, while building confidence with business stakeholders and company leadership when assisting in defining and promotion our strategic vision. This opportunity requires skills and experience related to information security strategy planning and effective executive reporting and communication skills. The ideal candidate will deliver on the following key areas of responsibility: Core focus on supporting and developing cyber security vision and road map on strategies, as assigned Engage with information security architecture viewpoints for all initiatives Work with security program management teams to ensure alignment with strategy and vision Maintain regular engagement and proactive partnership with business and technology teams to ensure assigned strategies align with business and technical needs, requirements, and constraints Analyze market and industry trends and recommend adjustments to the security strategy accordingly Build and maintain a catalog of high level security capabilities for all assigned strategies To be successful in this position you must have the following skills and qualifications; Proven experience and desire to operate as a self-starter and be comfortable working in an ambiguous, yet fast-paced, environment Highly meticulous and detail oriented Proven ability to identify and develop clear and understandable security capabilities and strategic views from high-level business objectives and technology constraints A knowledge of information security principles, frameworks and best practices and how those principles support strategy and vision. Proven ability to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together to facilitate, moderate, and influence productive discussions driving towards results Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how information security can support the business Superior written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, ability to explain complex concepts in plain language and graphics Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Intermediate/Advanced computer skills desired: Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio) **Qualifications:** Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Minimum of 7 years' of experience in information technology and/or information security and compliance Understanding of financial industry legal, regulatory and compliance requirements for information security Effective communication Preferred Skills: Experience in strategy management and metric development in the areas of information technology and security Industry certifications in the area of information security, project management and/or comparable qualifications **Job:** Information Technology **Primary Location:** United States **Shift:** 1st - Daytime **Average Hours Per Week:** 40 **Requisition ID:** 200015288 U.S. Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
