Come work for the Ursuline Sisters of Mount St. Joseph providing nursing assistant services for the retired Sisters living in their home.

Assistant Director of Nursing
Assistant Director of Nursing Pay per Hour:
Min pay $23.96 to $26.36 hour (increases based on years of experience).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists with planning, organizing and overseeing staff to provide sisters' care.
• Evaluates level of care being provided to sisters to ensure quality standards are met.
• Oversees daily staffing requirements.
• Orients healthcare staff to their job responsiblities and ensure they are fully training before orientation period is complete.
• Provides leadership in healthcare problem solving as needed.
• Produces and manages healthcare staff work schedules and bi-weekly payroll time with approval from Director of Nursing.
• Assists Director of Nursing with preparation and delivery of annual performances.
• Assists Director of Nursing with evaluation, scheduling and facilitation of in service meetings/trainings.
• Administers discipline according to the Staff Handbook and established healthcare policies and practices, with approval of the Director of Nursing and Human Resources Department.
• Accepts on-call responsibilities as per on-call schedule.
• Serves as liaison with physicians, pharmacies and other appropriate healthcare professionals and facilities in absence of DON.
• Investigate and resolves sisters' complaints and concerns.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but must be a Registered Nurse (RN) from an accredited school of nursing.
At least one year of clinical experience. Previous healthcare management experience preferred. Must maintain current Kentucky Nursing License in good standing. Must meet all local health regulations.
Skills and Abilities Required
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Relates professionally and positively with staff and visitors, projects a professional image for the facility, works cooperatively with associates at all levels, and has good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and turn residents, also to withstand prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying.
• Must maintain regular attendance
