$11 - $15 an hour
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: SRNA, CNA or CMA required . Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish). Ability to exercise judgment, work independently under Provider’s direction and willing to work flexible hours. Must function as a team member and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Proven ability to take initiative. Computer literate and capable of operating an EMR. On the job training provided.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare treatment rooms for examination
· Assist in gathering quality measures and record information in the electronic medical records system accurately and as trained
· Will assist provider and other certified staff members with patient care within the SRNA/CMA scope of practice, to include but not limited to wound care, immunizations, measuring vital signs, giving injections, performing blood draws and handling medical emergencies
· Perform prior authorizations for prescriptions/procedures
· Triage patients, take phone messages and return phone calls as needed
· Re-stock medical supplies in exam room
· Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in regards to patient information
· Perform daily duties and communicate with others professionally and with respect
· Must have a heart to serve and sincere compassion for others
Other duties assigned by supervisor or management.
