Make an Impact
We are seeking a strong Copywriter to concept and create compelling content for Fossil Group's Multi-Brand division that aims to effectively conveying the unique voices of brands like Fossil, Skagen, Michele, Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, and Kate Spade.
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Execute copy tasks and partner with cross-functional marketing and design teams to develop omni-channel assets on direct-to-consumer channels, including but not limited to: store, email, website, organic social, paid media, SEO, and special brand initiatives
• Amend, revise, or redevelop copy in response to feedback from stakeholders swiftly and with a positive, solution-driven attitude
• Proofread, review, and edit materials for accurate use of grammar, brand voice, and technical accuracy, making note of in-house style guidelines across multiple brands
• Collaborate closely with art directors and designers to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style
• Innovate new content and refresh promotional materials to improve competitive advantage
• Conduct regular keyword research using Conductor Searchlight reporting tool to identify high-volume/relevant search term opportunities and provide insights to NAM & Global Digital Marketing for further distribution
• Conduct regular site audits of existing/missing SEO copy blocks across all webpages to filling in gaps and achieve global consistency across all brands
• Write page title info, metadata, and SEO copy blocks of 500+ words that include high-volume search terms culled from keyword research, in line with SEO content writing best practices
• Post, update and regularly maintain onsite SEO copy blocks to keep content fresh and current, through each site's CMS and coordination with internal UI teams
• Assist in the copy creation and maintenance of BloomReach thematic pages to create additional content for Fossil.com
• Coordinate with teams in EMEA and APAC regions, as well as third-party translation service providers, to translate SEO copy written for CA, UK, DE, FR, IT, AU, IN and JP sites; posting translated copy onsite through SFCC/Magento and update regularly as appropriate
• Own and update NAM SEO workfront jobs and take on internal coordination for SEO, as directed by Supervisor
Your Skills
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or other related field
• 3 - 4 years of professional writing experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to partner and collaborate easily with in house teams and external vendors
• Strong desire to succeed and find new ways to grow the business
• Detail-oriented and flexible to constantly changing retail market
• Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
