Description
Maintenance Supervisor
Excited opportunity with a growing manufacturing company!
We manufacture Shade Structures.
As a Maintenance Supervisor your Role will be to:
• Train and supervise employees in the maintenance department
• Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work(when needed).
• Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
• Review and record unexpected downtime. Discuss possible solution’s to improve operation and preventative maintenance.
• Keep up are parts inventories and coordinate proper purchasing of parts.
• Implement workplace safety policies and standards
• Work with department managers to address when scheduled maintenance can be performed and prioritizing work as to importance in meeting customer orders.
• Monitor Facility conditions, maintain premise’s with help of maintenance team and outside contractors.
Requirements:
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• 7 to 10 years maintenance experience
• 2 to 3 years preferred supervisory experience
• OSHA Knowledge
Steel, powder coating, ovens, and forklift experience is a plus!
