Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is a licensed or registered professional nurse who provides, coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process, standards of care and practices along with hospital philosophy.
The RN will function as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous care, supervision, interaction and role modeling to patients under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with education and experience. We also offer a robust benefit package.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in nursing preferred.
Experience: One (1) year of experience in med-surge and/or One (1) year of related clinical experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experience preferred.

Mental Health Technician
Full-time
The Mental Health Technician (MHT) functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous care, supervision, interaction and role modeling to patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Documents patient information and patient care.
• Takes and records patient’s vital signs, and reports/communicates any abnormalities to the Charge Nurse.
• Utilizes sound judgment when observing and documenting any changes in a patient’s appearance or behavior.
• Employs principles of communication, interviewing techniques, problem solving and crisis intervention when performing patient interventions.
• Provides appropriate intervention related to patient’s concerns.
• Identifies patients at risk and implements procedures to monitor and reduce at risk factors.
• Utilizes appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergencies.
• Maintains a therapeutic relationship and practices appropriate staff/patient boundaries.
• Assists patient through the admission and discharge processes.
