Full Job Description
PURPOSE/SCOPE: Complete cycle counts with a quality and accurate manner on a daily basis in all areas of the warehouse ensuring stock is in the right location and has the right quantity.
General Responsibilities
· Manage and complete cycle count process
· Perform cycle counts on assigned bin locations.
· Use scales to perform counts on necessary items.
· Complete bin checks as needed
· Recognize and escalate inventory and storage issues
· Maintain general housekeeping and pick ready condition of bin locations
· Other duties as determined by supervisor/management team.
· Continuous improvement/5S.
Required Experience & Education
· High School Diploma OR GED required
· 2 years distribution or manufacturing experience
· Ability to count various products and quantities with a high degree of accuracy
· 2 years Warehouse experience
REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL & BEHAVIORAL SKILLS: In addition to the General Responsibilities, the following are required interpersonal and behavior skills of the position as well as:
· Strong organizational skills
· Effective communication skills with staff and peers
· Pro-active approach to problem resolution
· Ability to problem-solve
· Ability to concentrate on tasks and work calmly and effectively in a high-pressure, deadline oriented environment
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Ability to operate powered lift equipment
· Ability to stand for extended period of times
· Ability to work in a non-climate control and cold/freezer environments.
