Position Purpose:
Maintain and administer network servers, services, and applications following standard Information Technology policies, processes, and procedures or as directed by IT management. Respond to incidents and perform level one troubleshooting, remediation, and escalation on network servers, services, and applications.
Essential Functions:
·       Performs administration (add, delete, change) of Windows network, Exchange e-mail, fax, VPN and Citrix remote access accounts and other network resources, services, and applications
·       Monitors network and network devices, including network connectivity, Citrix connectivity, functions, fax, and Exchange e-mail server connectivity and function, server performance issues, and other related tasks.
·       Provides level one diagnosis of issues with network servers, services, and applications in a Windows/Linux   environment
·       Provides level two diagnosis of Windows and Citrix client issues, including operating system, devices, services, printing, network issues, and client application issues (e.g., Outlook, Office Pro, and line of business apps.)
·       Responds to alerts or emergency issues within 15 minutes during regular business hours and when on-call.
·       Reviews technologies, processes, and procedures to help identify opportunities for team growth and better performance.
Experience working with no less than six of the following is required:
·       Windows server
·       Networking
·       Active Directory
·       Exchange server
·       Citrix
·       VMWare
·       Working in a helpdesk environment
·       Oracle or MS SQL database administration
·       Veritas NetBackup Enterprise backup and media administration
·       Linux
