HIGHWAY ENGINEERS NEEDED WITH FDOT EXPERIENCE (TOP 10 PLACES TO WORK!!)
The successful candidate will prepare highway designs for a variety of project types, from preliminary concepts to final construction plans.
Required Education and Experience
• Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) experience is a plus
• Bachelors of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering or related Engineering field
• Four (4) to ten (10) years of related experience
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
• Proficiency in MicroStation Open Roads Designer (FDOT Connect) and 3D Modeling
Essential Functions:
• Design roadway and drainage solutions utilizing MicroStation Open Roads (FDOT Connect)
• Provide creative solutions to ever changing transportation demands throughout Florida
• Prepare construction cost estimates
• Collaborate as a part of a roadway team to develop final design
• Coordinate with clients and sub-consultants on projects
• Mentor junior staff as needed
