GHD is looking for Senior Advisor to help support for Florida Environmental Business. This role will be based in our Tampa office and will be a part-time position.
Specific responsibilities in this role will include:
• Provide Senior Technical Review of project reports
• Pursue opportunities with existing clients and work toward strengthening relationships and diversify service offerings
• Prepare for FDEP Environmental contract re-compete (strategy, teaming, positioning)
• Proposal Preparation (red/pink team reviews Drainage/Environmental/Coastal)
• Emerging Contaminants (participate in presentations identifying GHD as thought leader)
• Mentor younger staff for ESA’s, compliance, and remediation
• Support Integrated Water Management (IWM) in Florida by participating in strategy development, presentations, pre-positioning
For success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or related technical field.
• 15+ years of experience in the environmental industry; specifically contamination assessment & remediation
• Experience in a business development role that included lead generation, networking, new client development, and expansion of portfolios with existing clients is a plus and a strong differentiator
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation
• Results driven self-starter that is highly energetic with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to present technical information, both written and orally, in a concise and professional manner; must have strong technical writing skills
