Full Job Description
We seek a bilingual (English & Spanish) Dispatch / Operations Manager to:
• Manage Employees - Lead a small team of bilingual employees who are based in our Tampa office.
• Direct Subcontractors - Oversee the assignment of work orders to subcontractors (installation techs), many of whom speak only Spanish.
• Ensure that the work that's done in the field by the subcontractors is performed to company standards.
• ** Must be fluent in English and Spanish! **
The team of bilingual employees that reports to the Dispatch Manager assigns and dispatches the work orders to our subcontractors, and provides remote support to the subcontractors as needed throughout the day.

DAY SHIFT (M - F)
Some partial Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities
• Effective management, development and support of your team
• Assignment of work orders to subcontracted installation technicians, and overall management and coordination of assigned projects
• Confirm that required paperwork is submitted daily by subcontractors
• Manage required data entry tasks
• Ensure subcontractor insurance requirements are met and maintained
• Ensure warranties are completed daily
• On-going communication and collaboration with internal departments
• Creation and implementation of recruitment strategy to build our subcontractor pool
• Conduct performance reviews of team members
• In partnership with HR, take timely and appropriate steps when disciplinary issues arise, participate in new employee search process, etc.
Required Skills / Qualifications
• Required - Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (verbal & written)
• 2+ years of prior experience assigning work to and directing subcontractors
• 2+ years of prior Supervisory / Managerial experience (has managed direct reports)
• 2+ years of experience as a Dispatch Manager or Operations Manager with similar duties in the flooring, construction, HVAC, plumbing or similar industry
• 2+ years of experience recruiting subcontractors (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn and use new computer systems
• Proficient with computer-based business tools (Word, Excel, Gmail, etc.)
