Full Job Description
Synergy Florida is seeking a Lead AV Technician to spearhead residential integrations, consisting of installation and programming of audio/video, home automation and control.
Prior experience is a MUST!!!
Primary Responsibilities:
• Performs as a site lead and demonstrates effective leadership
• Install audio/video, network, and control equipment in client’s homes and businesses in accordance with state and company guidelines
• Install, terminate, test, label & document cables
• Build, cable, and program equipment racks
• Operate and test all types of audio/video and control equipment
• Provide detailed daily reports in company software
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Perform on site user training
• Programming knowledge of Control 4
• Network setup and configuration
• 3 years’ experience as a lead technician
• 3 years’ experience in Networking, Structured Wire, Audio/Video and Control Systems
• Ability to read and knowledge of standard symbols on design / floor plan drawings
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills
• Work quickly/efficiently while adhering to demanding quality and safety standards
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Knowledge and experience with hand tools and various power tools
• Work on a ladder on a consistent basis
• Lift a minimum of 50+ pounds on a consistent basis
• Work in extreme temperatures
• Flexibility to work hours outside of normal work-schedule as needed, in order to meet company installation deadlines, and business productions goals.
