Energetic Team Player Needed to assist Craft Distillery Tasting Room
We are re-opening our Craft Distillery’s Tasting Room located in Ybor city! We have re-structured our tours and tastings so that we can safely protect our guests with procedures that meet or exceed the CDC recommendations. As such, we have created this new position to assist the Owners and Tour Guides on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays when we are open to the public (by appointment only).
Must be Friendly, Positive, and Proud to live in the Tampa Bay Area(!) We are a small team and work with a start-up mentality. This is a part time position and you must be available 3 out of the 4 days we are open. Shifts do not exceed 6 hours per day. Weekly Hours will range from 12 to 18 hours per week.
About The Company: The Florida CANE Distillery is a micro-distillery that was founded in February 2012. The distillery ferments, rectifies, blends, bottles, and sells 5 signature products: Vodka, Moonshine, Gin Whiskey, and Rum. The distillery opened the first vodka-tasting room in the state of Florida in 2013, and is distributed throughout the state of Florida in over 300 retail locations. The distillery was the first craft distillery to open in the city of Tampa in March of 2016 and is both a tourist destination and a functioning micro-distillery located in the heart of Ybor City.
Responsibilities Include:
• Confirming Reservations, Greeting and Seating Guests
• Restocking merchandise
• Wiping down and Sanitizing Tables between each Tour
• Cashing customers out as they purchase distilled spirits or branded products
• Serving small samples and complimentary cocktails to visitors
• Completing all assigned tasks on the opening and closing checklists
• Learning and enforcing Safety Policies
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have outgoing personality
- Must be dependable and on time
- Must be able to lift and carry items to and from events
- Must have availability during the following days/hours
- Thursdays 4pm-10pm
- Fridays 4pm-10pm
- Saturdays 1pm-7pm
- Sundays 12pm-6pm
Approx 12-18hrs/week
Wage: $10.50/hr
