Full Job Description
Celestar Corporation is seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our team at our Tampa, Florida headquarters. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, a superior communicator, and a team player. Our Senior Recruiter will have the ability to effectively consult with our leadership team to understand and immediately address recruitment needs, gaps, and opportunities. We are looking for a leader to create and manage a well-oiled recruiting machine to handle our company’s rapid growth.
Responsibilities
• Deliver the highest quality candidates for government contract staffing needs and company positions.
• Engage all job candidates with a passion for the mission by showcasing Celestar’s work culture and exceptional benefits.
• Utilize internet job boards, talent management software i.e. Oracle TALEO, networking organizations, advanced online sourcing, employee referrals, social media, and creative sourcing strategies.
• Create, organize, manage recruitment team including support staff.
• Screen candidates to confirm competency and qualifications by employing specific and measurable recruitment tools.
• Consistently monitor requisition status of all open positions.
• Meet 100% of all deadlines.
• Communicate regularly with company leadership to make sure recruiting efforts are in-line with evolving staffing needs, but be able to problem-solve and manage on your own.
• Develop and maintain an organized pipeline of talent, specifically for frequently filled positions.
• Work creatively with leadership to identify and establish the most effective recruitment strategies.
• Maximize accessibility of company job listings to diversify and expand talent pool.
• Recommend specific action plans for any job opening.
• Write, develop and improve company job descriptions.
• Process/review all pre-employment background checks including government clearances.
Required Qualifications
• 3-5 years minimum of recruiting experience in government contracting staffing including positions requiring government clearances.
• Bachelor’s degree (military recruiting or military/defense intelligence or operations experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• Experience must include recruiting for a variety of positions, including IT, Tech, HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, Project Management and Administrative Support.
• Experience must include delivering superior job candidates by using various recruiting methods including cold-calling, networking, and competency/qualifications checks.
• Experience must include using talent management software (preferably Oracle TALEO), online job boards, and old-fashioned networking.
• Exceptional people skills, as well as effective phone and email communication.
• Strong organizational, project management and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office suite (especially Word, Outlook, and Excel) and talent management software.
• Strategic thinker who can see the big picture while also ensuring flawless work.
• Strong desire to collaborate, with a positive attitude and vision for the future.
• Comfortable both receiving and delivering constructive feedback.
