Description
The contractor shall serve as the focal point for monitoring and managing events (detectable or discernible occurrence that has significance for the management of the IT Infrastructure or the delivery of IT service and evaluation of the impact a deviation might cause to the services that occur within the enterprise). The contractor shall provide 24x7x365 event monitoring, management and escalation support services for various systems and applications supported. The contractor serves as a single point of contact for communication and information gathering for all service issues and outages; tracks all pertinent information for an issue or outage, documents details, notify key stakeholders, maintain detailed records, and keeps key stakeholders informed.
Job Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage support for Event Management tools and processes.
• Coordinating interfaces between Event Management and other service management processes.
• Ability to work closely with all technology areas across the directorate to collect information, facilitate and escalate troubleshooting efforts, and coordinate among various key stakeholders.
• Liaise with other key stakeholders (Incident Management, Problem Management, etc.) to ensure there is an integrated approach to the design and implementation of the Event Management process.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Active DoD Top Secret / SCI is required in order to be considered for this opportunity.
• Passport; position may be required to travel throughout USCENTCOM AOR.
• DoD 8570 Level II certification (i.e. Security+).
• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience; OR, High School equivalent and 6+ years of experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and non-standard hours when needed; mission focused.

• Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, organized and able to manage individual schedules.
• Strong analytic and decision making abilities.
• Strong people and team-building skills and the capability to exercise discretion.

• Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
• Able to change work direction in short notice when needed due to unforeseen events.
• Able to work and interact with government personnel on a professional level.
• Previous experience at USCENTCOM a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel).
