Full Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Inventory Specialist to join our growing company. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a firm grasp of basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Dropbox, Google programs) and an ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ideal candidates will have inventory experience as well as some leadership experience.
A successful inventory specialist is a trustworthy associate with outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data. The ideal candidate will work closely with management, develop and improve existing procedures and policies, prevent losses, and occasionally do some heavy lifting. Their other responsibilities include maintaining storage facilities, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, compiling month end inventory and ordering reports, and doing weekly counts of all products.
Hours: Monday – Friday beginning 7:00am and 8:00am. 30-40 hours a week with availability to work weekends on occasion.

Responsibilities:
• Place orders for products as needed
• Order based on store pars to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
• Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.
• Controlling flows of products and supplies.
• Reporting to management and advising on process improvements.
• Coordinating and directing deliveries. (Internal & External)
• Developing loss mitigation processes and protocols.
• Addressing any problems, obstacles or challenges.
• Forecasting future inventory requirements.
• Meet order form and delivery objectives.
• Managing inventory and filing systems.
• Performing complete inventory checks of all stock as needed
• Ensuring all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly.
• Identifying, analyzing and addressing gaps in inventory processes.
• Document vendor deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
• Evaluate and qualify new inventory to ensure it’s ready for store deliveries.
• Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
Requirements:
• Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the field.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Working knowledge of word processor, database and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, etc).
• Able to work weekends on occasion.
