**This role is located in Wimauma Florida at our Production facility.**

A Production Manager at Parallel oversees the production operations of the Harvest and MIP departments. Works closely with the Senior Production Manager to ensure all production needs are met. Provides leadership and guidance to all teams and manages Employee Relations and on-boarding
Authority & Supervision:
• Report directly to the Director of Production Operations
• Oversees Production Supervisor(s), Processing Supervisor, Labeling Supervisor and Production Specialists
• Manages Harvest, Lab, Processing and Labeling teams directly
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manages production operations by implementing, adjusting, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures
• Responsible for enforcing Operational Compliance in all aspects of purchasing, producing and packaging all products
• Manages all Lab, Processing and Harvest Department quality standards, employee relations and on-boarding; directs teams on executing day to day operations and facilitates production schedule planning
• Works closely with Testing Coordinator to ensure lab testing results are distributed accurately and expeditiously to their appropriate department oversight
• Works directly with Production Operations Training Department Manager to initiate and evolve an engaging, holistic Training Program directed at enhancing employee skills and nature; helps to mature individuals and culture, to instill the necessary qualities for future leadership
• Develops and maintains appropriate par levels for all materials related to production needs, specifically raw materials, packaging/labeling supplies and staff
• Uses efficient and effective means to convert raw materials with human and material resources
• Mastery and management of seed to sale tracking programs
Qualificatio ns & Skills
• Age 21 or over (Required)
• High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or another College Degree (Strongly Preferred)
• Multi-year experience in managing high volume production operations (Strongly Preferred)
• Cannabis Industry work experience (Strongly Preferred)
• Proven success of process improvement techniques
• Food Manager Certification required within the first year i.e., ServSafe
• Demonstrates excellent leadership skills, a strong work ethic, excellent delegation and follow-up skills, must be goal and task oriented and able to handle stress professionally
• Exceptional decision-making capabilities, able to solve problems holistically, superior conflict management and human resources principles and practices
• Must be organized and have extreme attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
• Lab/Prep Kitchen environment
• Requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, and consistent attention to detail for 10+ hours per day
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. unassisted and up to 80 lbs. assisted
