Qualified applicants MUST have 10+ years of experience in commercial construction with scope of work larger than $20M. Mixed-Use build experience is a major plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Represent and cultivate company's values; uphold business ethics and demonstrate professional judgement
• Manage project life cycle including subcontractor negotiations and buyout, project scheduling, material procurement, RFI's, pencil draws, change order management and project close out
• Display a thorough understanding of project specifications, including site drawings, agenda, on-site procedures and potential code violations to properly bid and manage the project
• Conduct meetings with clients, architects and other partners to provide project updates; engage in team collaboration and communication with the Superintendent to proactively resolve any on-site issues keeping the project on track
• Generate detailed and accurate conceptual budgets from space plans, and/or renderings and/or scope notes
• Serve as the point of contact for project management staff, subcontractors, building owners and managers, building engineers, architects and more
• Abide by guidelines in company's safety manual and regularly attend seminars on a variety of safety-related topics
• Maintain good relations and communication with everyone involved in a project; conduct oneself in a courteous and professional manner at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree is a plus, but not required.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience, preferably commercial, education, and mixed-use build experience
• Committed to producing high-quality work

• Goal-oriented - ability to react quickly to changing circumstances and still achieve the desired end results
• Proactively looks for potential job site issues and addresses any problems promptly and professionally
• Calm and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations
• Organized with keen attention to detail; strong critical thinking skills
• Strong understanding of project cost analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to produce thorough documentation of each project
• Experience with project management software is a plus (Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, Timberline, Salesforce, Microsoft Project)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
