The Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications that support day-to-day operations.Responsibilities:* Design and implement software solutions across McNichols software architecture.* Participate in all phases of the SDLC starting from kick off to post production support - Requirements, Design and Technical Specifications, Development, Testing, and production/go live.* Support our production software applications partnering with our sales and operations team.* Bug fix and Enhance software applications meeting our business needs.* Lead and/or participate in design sessions for future strategic growth* Collaborate and drive system architecture, design, best practices, and decisions* Analyze software requirements and create reliable duration estimates for Software Engineers assigned to approved projects* Proactively solve problems within software applications and integrated applicationsQualifications:* B.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; related work experience may be substituted for educational requirement* 5+ years of role specific development experience* Experience in application designer level Tibco experience; performance tuning and administrative skills are a plus* Strong working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and associated concepts* Experience in WebServices (Soap and REST, JSON) along with the tools used to test (SoapUI)* Cloud application integration experience is a plus* Strong knowledge in RDBMS concepts with experience in (DDL, DML, PL/SQL) and integration capability with Oracle/SQL server* An In-depth understanding of programming languages within role specific domain like Java, Groovy/Grails* Must have experience in optimizing performance tuning of TIBCO processes* Knowledge in integration with other applications like JDEdwards (E1) , CRM/BM is a big plusMcNichols is proud to reward our team with quarterly recognition incentives and a generous benefits package including 1st day eligibility for health insurance, 3 weeks of PTO, 9+ paid holidays, 401k with partial employer match and company provided disability/life insurance.McNichols is a Drug Free Workplace and strong advocate of workforce diversity.Visit our website at www.mcnichols.com to hear "The HOLE Story".
