OVERVIEW:
Chadwell Supply is a successful family-owned maintenance supply company with 15 Branches Nationwide. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded individual to work as a Chadwell Supply Help Desk Specialist,
The Help Desk Specialist :
• Provides help desk support and resolves problems on a variety of technical and business processes;
• Monitors and responds quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT help desk;
• Supports SalesPad Desktop, Great Plains and other software delivered via Citrix;
• Monitors software performance on a daily basis and resolve issues proactively;
• Analyzes help desk requests to identify new training opportunities;
• Provides internal QA support and testing for internal software;
• Becomes the SME for new internal applications in order to implement and train applications to users;
• Documents internal procedures;
• Assists with onboarding/off boarding of users;
• Has the ability to answer basic computing questions as needed;
• Reports issues to the Level 3 software/hardware administrators for escalation;
• Assigns users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory;
• Performs routine maintenance, such as Great Plains reconciliation;
• Identifies resources and user needs to improve internal and department processes; and
• Performs timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
• You must be 18 years or older;
• You must have good interpersonal skills and are able to communicate effectively;
• You must have 1 to 2 years experience in a help desk environment;
• You must have exceptional computer literacy and experience;
• You must have the ability to define and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables, occasionally in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• You must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form ; and
• You must have a financial aptitude for understanding and facilitating profitable fulfillment.
